NewDisc invests in the youth

At NewDisc, we believe that the future of disc golf lies in the hands of young players. That is why we want to give the youth the best opportunities to develop, grow with the sport, and become part of the strong community that disc golf creates. We see it as our responsibility to support the next generations of players – through training, equipment, and role models who can inspire them on their journey.

Samuel Olesen

PDGA #252142

Hi! My name is Samuel, I am 15 years old and come from West Jutland. I was introduced to disc golf in 2020 by my father and one of his friends – and I was quickly hooked on the game!

I am in 9th grade at Videbæk Christian Free School, and next year I will start at Sædding Boarding School.

🥏 Play & style

I am a backhand-dominant player who – when the opportunity arises – prefers a turnover over a forehand. But I am working purposefully on developing both throws so that I get a more complete game.

In the summer, I play regularly at:

• Momhøje every Monday

• Kibæk every Wednesday
… in connection with the weekly matches.

🎯 Tournaments & goals

I try to participate in as many tournaments as possible – especially:

• Fairway Cup

• Viski Cup

• VVVC

• DDGE

• AM DM

⭐ Favorites

• Favorite disc: Eclipse Hex

• Favorite courses: Momhøje, Skive and Eghjorten

🤝 Say hi!

If you meet me on a course – or anywhere else – don't hesitate to come by for a chat or a question. I am always open to a friendly conversation and am happy to help where I can.

See you out there!
