Team NewDisc

We are happy to announce that we have now assembled a strong team of disc golf players who are sponsored by NewDisc.

You will be able to meet these players on the Danish courts (probably mostly in northern Jutland) and at various tournaments around. Their bags bear the stamp of MVP and Axiom disc, but they will also have the opportunity to play with other disc brands.

Here we give a small profile of the players.

Tim Terkelsen

Tim started playing in the fall of 2022. It was a very slow start, where he really only joined to be with the other wonderful people from NewDisc.
Slowly it has become more and more frequent, and now he stands on (and outside) fairways approx. 1-2 times a week.
He was quick to learn to hyzer flip his throws so that they flew reasonably far for a beginner. The difficult thing has been to hit in the right direction, as well as when we get closer to the curve. He has started to develop the close game around the basket lately, and it can really be seen on his scorecards.

He's not the type to geek out on his throws or grips. For him, it is important that movement and grip feel natural, so he grabs and throws his discs quickly. He prefers the game to be fast, otherwise he may overthink his throws.

Kasper Levorsen

Kasper is 41 years old and lives in Hjørring with his lovely family, wife and two boys. He is a qualified pedagogue and works daily at a special school.
When he is not working, he spends most of his time playing disc golf. Of course, he has his home court at the Hjørring court, but often plays on the other courts in North Jutland. (Brønderslev, Vrå and Aalborg)
He has been playing disc golf since 2022.

Peter Svensson

Peter is 40 years old and lives in Frederikshavn. He works daily as a bricklayer. For him, disc golf is a wonderful sport, where the company of good friends, the element of competition and nature experiences come into play. Something fun and unexpected always happens on a round.
You will often be able to meet Peter on the courses in Northern Jutland (Hjørring, Brønderslev, Vrå and Aalborg)

Martin Terkelsen

Martin Terkelsen

Martin is 47 years old and has enjoyed playing disc golf since the fall of 2021. As a former basketball player, he has finally found an activity that is great fun and that the old body does not completely break down.

His forehand dominates his game and throws up to 110 meters. He is skilled in his approach throw between 30 - 60 meters. As he himself says: I have to practice the rest. He also has a little difficulty with the very straight tunnel shots.
Martin plays as soon as he can, and is often found on the courses in Northern Jutland (Hjørring, Vrå, Brønderslev and Aalborg). However, he has found a favorite course the farthest from home; The track on Bornholm.
