Stabile discs

Stable discs

In disc golf, "stable discs" refer to discs that have a neutral to slightly stable flight direction, meaning they do not turn too much to the left or right during the throw. Stability in disc golf is often described by three key figures: speed, glide and fade.

A stable disc will typically have a balance between glide and fade, making it suitable for a variety of throws and throws. A stable disc can fly straight when thrown with appropriate force and technique.

In general, discs can be categorized as overstable, stable, and understable. Over-stable discs tend to the left for right-handed throwers (and vice versa for left-handers), while under-stable discs will tend to the right. Stable discs are in the middle and allow throwers to better control their throw and achieve a more predictable flight path.

It is important to choose the right stability based on your own throwing strength and technique and the situations you expect to encounter in the game.
